In addition to our goal of collecting 500 blankets for The Salvation Army this year, ETR is donating and installing a central Heating and AC System into a Habitat for Humanity of Smith County’s Home! East Texas Refrigeration will also match every donation made by an ETR customer to the Gift of Warmth project, and every $15 donated buys one new blanket for a community member in need. Donate here and don’t forget to write-in “Giving the Gift of Warmth” in the Specific Use section of the donation page.
Every year between the months of November and February, The Salvation Army issues around 2,000 blankets to those in need here in Tyler.ETR and The Salvation Army are asking the Tyler community to come together this holiday season and help collect 500 blankets by December 17, 2014 for those in need of the Gift of Warmth.New blankets can be dropped off at East Texas Refrigeration (ETR) Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. or The Salvation Army of Tyler, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Remember to tell The Salvation Army that your blanket is for ETR’s Gift of Warmth project!
